Liberal Democratic Party Or PLD's Popularity Hikes To 6%

Liberal Democratic Party Or PLD reached up to 6% popularity by siding with Romania’s suspended President, Traian Basescu.

However, removing PD from ruling and the anti-Basescu campaign are the main causes for the National Liberal Party or PNL’s popularity drop in the opinion polls.

Thus, the two Liberal parties one(PLD) having its origins in the other(PNL) reached almost the same level of trust within the population although PLD was recently  established in January, this year.    According to polls carried out in March, however, one day before sacking the Democrats, PNL had 13% of the electorate’s trust.

After only 45 days, following the suspension of  Romania’s President Traian Basescu, the population’s trust in PNL faltered as polls showed that only 7% would vote for the Liberals.
