KBC enters the shop credits market

Development. The Belgian group KBC founded in Romania a non-banking financial institution - KBC Consumer Finance.

The branch started to grant credits in shops. The yearly effective interest practiced for loans is around 20%, according to the institution's officials. This could be higher or lower, depending on the customer.

The institution will grant, in the future, credits for personal needs and will release credit cards. KBC Consumer Finance wants to become, in the next two years, one of the first three players on the Romanian market of consumption credits.
