The employees are now in the seventh day of general strike. The union and the factory’s administration have had another series of unsuccessful negotiations yesterday.
The 250 lei wage raise proposal was refused once more. Actually, the company bought advertising in local newspapers, in order to announce their offers.
Ion Iordache, one of the union’s officials told us that the French representatives didn’t bring anything new to their offer and that the current offer is just a version of the ones proposed last week.
Meantime, the production is still suspended and the losses sum up to about 65 million euros. The strike didn’t generate any delays concerning deliveries, according to the statements provided by the company.
