Czech Republic, smaller "share" of Russian oil

Conflict. Unipetrol, the largest refinery from Czech Republic, has utilized the oil reserves of the state, as the oil suppling through an alternative pipe, after Russia reduced its deliveries towards the Czech state through the oil pipe Drujba, justifying the measures with technical problems, according to Reuters.

Czech officials said, Friday, that it is possible that the oil deliveries from Russia to drop at half, action that could increase the tensions between the two parties even further. The relationship of the two countries was affected by the decision of the Czech state to sign, last week, an agreement with the US on the placing of a radar station for the US antimissile shield.
