Lanny J. Davis, one of an Bill Clinton’s ex-advisor, speaks in an exclusive interview for EVZ, about the electoral campaigns and of his involvement, as a friend and suporter of Hillary Clinton. Davis came to Romania in order to try and sort out the controversy that surrounds the Cathedral Plaza project.
Lanny Davis is a partner in the Orrick, Herrington& Sutcliffe law firm and was a member of the Civil Rights Comitee during the anti-terrorist program developed by the Bush administration.
Davis is the legal representative for Millenium Building Company, that builds the Cathedral Plaza, which is situated near the most important catholic cathedral in Bucharest. Davis discussed with Ioan Robu, the roman-catholic archbishop who publicly asked that the construction site to be closed down.
The church authorities disputed the Cathedral Plaza project in court and said that the construction will have an impact on the cathedral’s structure.
