The imported machines have increase the deficit

This year, the difference between exports and imports will reach 18 billion euros.

In the first months of 2007, the commercial deficit of Romania was at approximately 5.6 billion euros, with 65% bigger than the one recorded at the beginning of last year, according to INS.

According to INS, Romania has exported until the end of April goods worth 9.3 billion euros, with almost 15% more than last year. The imports totaled 15 billion euros, with 30% more than last year. Over 70% from the total of exports, and over 72% of the total of imports were made in and out of UE. The causes of the loss of balance are the decrease with 50% of oil based products exports.
