The hymn of the Social Democratic Party or PSD, "We Are The Champions", has a lower popularity than the Romanian President’s “Ciuleandra”- a national ,Romanian song/dance.
Basescu also had a much more attractive “scene presence” than Geoana.
The two hymns made a difference between the two parties during the 30 days of the suspension of President. Another important factor was the gestures employed by both politicians.
Beyond speeches, the recently ended electoral campaign for the national referendum had its share of show: music, stage moves, costumes etc.
Basescu won due to his “superstar” persona, with “Ciuleandra”, his “new number of the Beats(the famous 322 PMs who voted on his suspension), postures of praying and much more.
