With Sandero, Dacia enters for the firs time the small cars section, aiming towards young and dynamic customers end even to the feminine audience, considers Cecilia Tudor, product responsible for Dacia Sandero, quoted by "Capital" magazine.
This statement, supported by the car's appearance, fits the aspirations of many car producers which are targeting the same section of customers, writes "Capita". In Romania, those which have all the reasons to fear for their market share are the sellers of models like Ford Fiesta, Skoda Fabia, Chevrolet Aveo, Opel Corsa sau chiar Renault Clio III.
"I'm sure that some buyers will choose between Clio III and Sandero, but the two cars have pretty different specifications. Sandero is a well-made lasting hatchback, but is not as sophisticated as Clio. It's, off course, possible for us to face some cannibalism, but doesn't makes us tremble", said for "Capital" the design director of the Renault group, Patrick le Quement. Commercial results of the type will be commented at the end of the year, but is certain that Sandero has great chances to shake the auto market as strongly as Logan did in 2004.
